We went Gnome hunting

Fall in Ohio is gorgeous.  It is the only season that blows Colorado out of the water.  Seriously.  And I love a good hill with changing Aspens, don't get me wrong -- but the colors here are a show of God's artistic side!

Today we went on a grand adventure with friends to the Holden Arboretum to hunt Gnomes!  Twenty Gnomes were painted by local artists and scattered around a 1.5 mile loop that took us through forested areas, around lakes, over bridges, and back to a cluster of picnic tables where we ate lunch.  It's a beautiful day today and it was just so refreshing to be with friends outside with all our children running off steam, laughing, and have a ball trying to spot the "next Gnome"!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day, to see all of them, go to my facebook album.
